ENMMC Donates to United Way
4/14/2023
Eastern New Mexico Medical Center just wrapped up their 2022 United Way of Union County Campaign and is excited to announce a donation of $13,121.44 to the United Way. Their campaign donations are made by our staff and can be set up as a payroll deduction to make it easy for our staff to participate. “We are committed to investing in our community and doing our part to give back to the place we call home,” said Warren Yehl, CEO.
Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing systems to help all of us. We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when people are healthy.
United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of these problems. Living united means being a part of the change. It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. Give. Advocate. Volunteer. LIVE UNITED. 100% of monies raised locally stays right here in Chaves County to support the United Way agencies, programs and services. “We are extremely proud of and grateful to the employees at ENMMC for such a generous donation. The support they have shown for our community this year is amazing. Our United Way agencies have faced many funding hurdles in 2022 and these funds from ENMMC will help them continue to provide much-needed services,” said United Way Executive Director Laura Weathers.
