ENMMC Celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Week
4/14/2023
It’s been said that many hands make light work – one of the many reasons that volunteers are a valued part of Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Volunteers are integral to ENMMC’s commitment to the community, by supporting the hospital’s mission of providing comprehensive care – physical, emotional and spiritual – to the residents of Chaves County and beyond. We also have a great volunteer group at our ENMMC Senior Circle. They help with daily operations such as greeting members, stocking supplies and organizing events.
During National Volunteer Week, April 17 through April 21, ENMMC recognizes the many contributions that these important individuals make, year-round. This year’s celebration, themed “Volunteering Weaves Us Together”, reveals the importance of volunteering to the strength and vibrancy of our communities through the interconnected actions we take to support one another. These diverse forms of sharing our time, talent and energy strengthen the fabric of our community.
A strong base of volunteers is essential to a community hospital. “Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is fortunate to have the active involvement of many caring, generous individuals from our community who lend their time and talents to enrich the lives of others,” says Warren Yehl, CEO of ENMMC.
Please join us in thanking our volunteers for the support, love and assistance they provide ENMMC, our patients and their families and our Senior Circle Program every day!
