Salary
Generous salaries combined with the easy-to-take cost of living in Roswell make our program very attractive. Our residents receive a competitive compensation package. You will also receive paid vacation, sick and CME time. We provide extra allowances for CME, professional dues and required life support courses. Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance are also available.
2005-2006 Salary
PGY II $48,300
PGY III $50,919
The Chief Resident's stipend is $3000 per year.
Vacation
You will receive three weeks, (15 days), annual paid vacations during the academic training year.
Sick Leave
You will have 5 days of sick leave available during the academic training year.
CME
You will receive $500 and up to five (5) days per academic year for continuing medical education. We also provide registration costs and travel expenses for ALSO and ATLS at UNM.
